CIRCLE UPDATES

A Milestone Worth Celebrating 🎉

We’re thrilled to share that Circle SC is now supporting more than 100 NDIS participants across Perth!

This milestone means so much to us not just as a number, but as a reflection of the trust families and individuals place in our team to walk alongside them on their NDIS journey.

To every participant, family, provider, and team member who's been part of our story, thank you.

Here's to continuing the work, growing stronger together, and keeping participants at the heart of everything we do. 💚

NDIS UPDATES

Attention: New NDIS Provider Phone Line 📞

The NDIS has launched a dedicated phone number to better support providers, support coordinators, and plan managers: 1300 311 675

This new line is designed to make things smoother when you need help with provider-related queries. Here’s how it helps:

🔹 Skip the general participant queue

🔹 Speak with staff familiar with provider processes

🔹 Get support that's specific to your role

The original NDIS number remains available for participant enquiries, so if you're a provider, make sure to use 1300 311 675 for a more direct and efficient experience.

CIRCLE COMMUNITY

Better Together: Building Stronger NDIS Networks 🤝

As part of our ongoing commitment to building strong provider networks, Dan recently connected with Sammy from Blossom Services, a new NDIS provider who’s just received their registration.

Sammy is at the beginning of his NDIS journey and is passionate about making a positive impact. With a strong focus on providing quality, person-centred support, they’re determined to help participants and families thrive.

We love meeting like-minded providers who share our values of care, collaboration, and community. Welcome to the sector, Sammy and excited to see the difference you’ll make!

CIRCLE COMMUNITY

A Moment to Shine

We’re thrilled to celebrate a special milestone for one of Tess’ participants, Michelle, who recently performed a solo at her community group, DADAA in Fremantle!

With courage, heart, and a beautiful voice, Michelle sang “My Favorite Things” by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, a song that perfectly captured the joy of the moment. 🎶

DADAA, a place where creativity and community come together, has long been a space where Michelle could explore her love for performance. Taking the stage solo was a big step and she nailed it.

Michelle’s journey with Circle SC has been all about confidence, connection, and doing things her way. Huge shoutout to Tess, whose thoughtful and empowering support has helped Michelle thrive and grow. 👏🌈

RESOURCES

Kinetic Solutions: Share Preloved Equipment for Kids with Disability

Emily and Rachael from Kinetic Kids WA have launched Kinetic Solutions, a free online platform helping WA families share preloved disability-related equipment in a safe, generous, and family-focused way.

Too often, families face challenges accessing assistive technology due to NDIS delays, long supplier wait times, or sudden changes in support needs. Kinetic Solutions helps bridge that gap by connecting families who need support with those who have gear to share.

At Circle SC, we’re proud to support this initiative. It’s not about profit, but about people. Just families helping families, through a simple act of sharing.

How it works:

Have something to give? List it and pass it on

🔍 Need something? Request equipment easily

💬 See something that fits? Connect and arrange directly

♻️ No longer need it? Re-gift through the platform

Keep it safe and always check with your OT or physio before using new gear.

DSS Policy & Reform Updates: Draft Lists of NDIS Supports

The Department of Social Services (DSS) continues its rollout of major reforms that will shape the future of the NDIS. One important update is the recent consultation on the Draft Lists of NDIS Supports.

This consultation explores key questions, including:

🔹 What supports should (or shouldn’t) be funded under the NDIS

🔹 How “reasonable and necessary” decisions are made

🔹 What clearer support boundaries could mean for participants and providers

While the draft lists aren’t final, they offer insight into possible changes including proposed exclusions such as gym memberships, non-dietary supplements, and short holidays.

These changes may have big implications across the sector. We’ll continue to follow the reforms closely and keep you updated.
